As I am imaging the Pelican nebula with the TMB and it gives a rather nice frame filler of the Herbig Haro objects, I thought I'd find a site so that i could label them. Thanks to NOAO.edu I was able to label them all in this area.......

My first completed image with the TMB 152/1200 - What a beautiful scope!! M3 is a Globular cluster with over half a million stars in it ...... 20 hours worth of data from my garden in Spain.
Really proud to have my 3rd article published in Astronomy Now magazine....... This month it's setting up a Dual-Imaging rig. I hope that I can help people avoid the pitfalls that I came across......
Finally ....
The conditions are not ideal with a large moon..... and this is only 6x1800 whereas I'd normally want more than 25x1800s... but at last there's an image from the monster ........ What a BEAUTIFUL scope....... A HUGE 6" refractor that is just a dream to look at... I can't wait to get it used
The Rosette nebulae (NGC2237) taken with the dual imaging rig of 2 x Takahashi FSQ85's and 2x Kodak KAF8300 sensors. All of the data was taken using the new Eagle S from PrimLuceLabs - This is a total of 40 hours worth of data.
The new Eagle S from PrimaLuce is all mounted and has been in use....... The complete mounting system from PrimaLuce offers versatility and new opportunities to explore...... I will be writing an in-depth review of the Eagle S soon.
This area is VERY rich in Ha which gives it the reddish colour. The reflection nebula in the upper left area is associated with the bright star 15 Monoceros.... This is a total of 43 hours and 20 mins of mixed exposures lengths taken with the dual Taks.
This is a HaLRGB image of M78 (blue reflection nebula) and Barnards Loop (Red in the left hand side) - Taken with the dual rig, there is over 47 hours worth of data in here.
You can see all the information here This is a tricky target at the best of times! M78 is a reflection nebula and responds to colour well. This is a combination of Ha and Luminance to get a feel of how the data may turn out.
This is data with the dual setup.... Luminance in one camera and Ha in both. Now the weather is on the turn (not in a good way) and with the moon about, I don't even know whether I will be able to finish this this year. |
