I've had a severe loss of interest over the last 6 months or so..... but I hope to get back into it...... I've been busy over the last week or so.... A new FT focuser put on the TMB........ A new Boss II autofocuser put on the rig......... And a new image published....... Data from 2019, but I think I'll be back soon with new data and new images...... Watch this space and stay tuned ......

Check out NGC6820 - Taken with the dual Takahashi rig, this has a total of 56 hours and 30 minutes of integration time. I have deliberately left the green in the image as without it there was a real lack of depth.
You can see the full image and information here This is a 2 pane mosaic of M78, some of Barnards loop and LDN1622. There's masses of data here, mixed from the TMB and the dual Taks as well as 2017 and 2018 data.
Travelling to the UK tomorrow to give a talk to the Webb Deep Sky Society ........... Looking forward to it immensely.
The roof rails have been fitted and the observatory door. The rest of the roof is pencilled in for Tuesday.
This is looking the business now...... I am really pleased with how it's looking. Now I am awaiting a quote for the roof and also the door for the observatory.
Really making progress now ... The metal man came this morning to measure up and look at what I wanted for the roof.
What has been done at the end of Day 1?
Follow the observatory extension on my blog and on the website page
Today has been the day to empty it all out ready for work to progress , It looks very bare! But when it;s done the dual rig will have a new home in the extended build. I am desperate to get 4.5 hours more and complete this data set..... I've wanted to do this for a few years, Once pane of the mosaic is from last year and the other from this year .....
This is the luminance so far ....... Just the remaining blue to get |
